o it's get better...
so we bang out everything this morning, cut, weeded, taped. I start the cab doors. It's around 11am and one of their drivers show up...
" did they tell about the hood?"
What? No... I continue with the work. Set up the ladders start the box.
I get a call
"is it done yet?"
ehh no.
"We want to make change to the front of the box above the cab"
WHAT?
"Please send over proof".
Now I am standing on the aluminum plank between 2 ladders...with squeegee and phone in hand. When the heck do you want that...ok whatever...I am little annoyed...
and hour later...
"We need an ETA and would it be possible to letter the cab doors on the new rack body, real quick."
No mention of the changes to the front/hood or email proof...which I haven't gotten to cause I am standing on the aluminum plank between 2 ladders...with squeegee in hand. OK Bring the rack truck over....which I get done...real quick. And Back to the Box Truck.
It's 5pm everything but the front of the box is done...it can wait I need the changes anyway. So i finally have time to shoot the "proof" over for the front. It's ok'd. I figure tomorrow.
I clean up and go home....once home I open my email and wouldn't you know it.
"stop the presses we need to change the front layout" ...again.
Needless to say I was told 2 months in advanced about this vehicle...
I theorize
that this get it done right now syndrome came about with the
advent of the cell phone.
yea Mark it might be. Cell phone, Internet. ME ME ME. On a whole everyone seems dumber...
