Guess I'm not sure what I would do in these cases as I don't really do much in the way of banners.
What would you do to hang these Muts?

Avoid both situations in the first place.

On the first building am pretty certain that banner didn't come from a sign company. I would never allow that, that way....never over those windows. Neither would any reputable sign co.

Other options - banner in that top pic layed-out like a traditional banner....huge letters you'd actually be able to read...

Second one would have been ok but again never over/tied to the channel letters...pull the channels letters it doesn't take long, they were already up there to hang the banner....the top is anchored fine....
