Anybody know of a tutorial on how to do custom fills in Corel X3.
As a example, I have a vector graphic of a flame design. I can fill it with one of the fills that Corel has in their fill tools, but I want to import a custom fill(wrap type fill from a CD)into Corel and then fill my flames with the imported fill. Does anybody know how to do that?
custom fills in Corel
couple of ways, - powerclip being the most obvious
bring your fill into corel, select it then choose powerclip, - Effects -> powerclip - > place inside container -
this will give you a little arrow as your mouse, just choose what shape ( vector ) you want filled.
other way
using the Interactive fill tool -
select your vector, choose the interactive fill tool and choose from drop down
menu on tool bar - choose bitmap ( or whatever you need ) and right next to that click the fill icon -
new menu pops up - choose "Load" navigate to your file - .jpg, tiff, bmp etc.
