This technique will work in most versions of Corel I believe
It’s simple and I use it often and works well with any Font
Type a word... any word.
In CoreDRAW! Bring up the Contour Box,
and you want to select “Inside” I like to keep this relatively small.
Set steps to “1” Click Apply.

I then break it apart (ctrl K) on your keyboard and duplicate (ctrl D)
the inner portion.

The duplicate of the Inner Contour, colored Blue here for clarity.

With your duplicate selected place it slightly off of the inner contour we made in the second step. This can be in any
direction you choose, off to the left or right even the bottom.

The next step involves some “cookie cutting” so everything must be converted to curves.
Select everything and Convert to Curves.
Tricky part, select the original contour (grey area in above and below photo) hold down shift and click on the Blue duplicate.

With both of them now selected (blue and grey) find the “combine menu” and choose “back minus front”

And the result! Beautiful Highlights!

Finished....

For some enhancement select your highlights and apply a Radial Fill centering them on the
top portions of the letters.... NICE!

Finished.
