I have a customer who wants a decal placed on the inside of windshield facing out but of course one cannot print color on the sticky side of vinyl. Is there a technique and a specific vinyl that is used or is this job not possible to do?
I love this forum, as a rookie sign maker the posts are so very helpful!

In Flexi ( I do not have ver 8, I have 7.6 but they should be similiar)- create you graphic, flip it (reverse it).
go to "effects" then "underbase" Choose "solid" Design Central should pop up
giving you options as far as what color to print the base with...choose white
spot ribbon....adjust the "bleed" or the "choke" to desired setting....
select all and send it to the production manager - make sure spot color mapping is checked and that white is in the menu.....
Find the "driver options", choose "white last" and reverse the print order
so it's CMYK. Let her RIP... You can do it in Summa's Color Control also....
