Compatible Vinyl List for DC Series Printers
Clear
I know that Oraful clear doesn't work very well. So don't buy it.

Re: Compatible Vinyl List for DC Series Printers
Hi guys new to the forum old to Summa technology (Summachrome from Westcomp days) I have a Dc3 and I am looking to print on a removeable clear, anyone have any suggestions? I tried FDC 7243 which printed well enough to add to your list but was an install nightmare. It is calandared and (very rigid) slight curves is an understatement. I am still waiting for the blush to come out as well, it was wet installed today. Static cling is a bit to removeable, any help is appreciated.

I read some materials not good to be used on DC, but I think we could create a different post to add them explaining the inconviniences appeared, and the comments about it from all of us as end users of it, but I don´t know how to create a special post, I think it could be added below the Compatible Vinyl List Post (this one we are posting now).
It is a great information we share here, thank you all of you who have checked and reported your experiences.

Re: Compatible Vinyl List for DC Series Printers
I tried a vinyl called Permagloss from sign-mart.com. I really like it. In fact I like it better then the Oracal that I have been using. I have run about 4 rolls of Oracal 651 through my DC4sx and I always had to play with the density/double density settings. I also had to turn up the density settings pretty high. My last roll of Oracal was so bad that I returned it and the guy that runs SignMart told me to try Permagloss. He said a lot of his customers are using it to thermal print. So I gave it a shot last night and really like it. It actually printed really good with the default settings. As a bonus, Permagloss was about $25 cheaper then Oracal.
This is just my opinion and its not a long term test as I just got the roll yesterday. But so far so good.
