New to thermal print 3M 5100???
Hey guys, new to the print business and purchased a dc4sx used a couple weeks ago. Our niche is reflective graphics and decals, all using 5100 series vinyl from 3M. Anyone have any settings to suggest to get started (I have successfully printed on my chrome from Griff/creative films as well as some 651 I had laying around). The reflective attempt snapped the ribbon. Suggestions would be awesome and much appreciated

Welcome,
I have no experience with 5100, but as far as reflective goes I have good results with
Nikkalite 48000 Flexible Engineer Grade Reflective. Mind you it's old school reflective with a very aggressive adhesive.
What I have been printing on as of late is Avery Color Change films mostly SW900 White Supreme Wrapping Film EZRS
with really nice results, I have also used some of their colors in that line also with stellar results.
