Re: Compatible Vinyl List for DC Series Printers

Unfortunately I was one of the stories. Lost well over half my income replacing jobs about 4 years ago. Which is why I was hesitant to try the new stuff.

I am running Orajet 3165RA samples today and I'm having good results as well ... just not as vibrant as the cast.

Re: Compatible Vinyl List for DC Series Printers

Avery scares me, but I just ran a whole roll sample /beta of SC 900-101 EZ-W. It is the BEST results I have ever had with the dc4 so far... even over the cast that came with the machine. The colors were perfect and vibrant. Ran the whole roll though 50 yds without a hiccup. Now I just have to wait a...

Re: Problem ripping to DC4SX from Signlab 9

Problem solved.... I didnt have the 64 bit usb drivers installed from summa which caused the problem. Really starting to like the rip from signlabs vpm now that I'm getting used to it. I just have to work out a few bugs and get the right settings for dpi and dot patterns / frequencies.

Problem ripping to DC4SX from Signlab 9

I recently upgraded software to signlab 9 and am having a problem getting vpm to send to my dc4sx. Every time i try to send a file to print and cut i get an error that is PageD428 error. It says the nested job contains spool files. I delete the spool files but it still does nothing? Has anyone had a...

Re: Specialty Materials colorprint problems on DC4SX

*UPDATE* After sending back the Specialty Materials film I got in similar material from Siser (Colorprint II) This stuff works perfect when ran on the same stock settings for Premium vinyl. Good to finally have some product that works! You can add this to the materials list with a thumbs up!

Re: Specialty Materials colorprint problems on DC4SX

I thought it may have been problems touching it / fingerprints .. but i loaded the media with gloves ... and the material also did the same thing half way through the roll so it wasn't from oil on my hands. I ened up jumping the density up to 14400 before it finally started to run respectable prints...

Specialty Materials colorprint problems on DC4SX

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance. I'm currently working on a t shirt job for a local school and I'm running into problems with Specialty Materials Colorprint film. I ran it through my machine on normal settings and it ended up having splotchy prints. So I tried u...

Printing on PhotoTex?

I know that this was already posted but I was wondering if there is anyone at all out there who has successfully printed on phototex from a dc4? I received some sample material from the company and tried to run it through but the print barely showed up. Since I am new to the machine I have yet to ch...
