Re: Summa T-750 Contour Cut

Mark, every SummaSign can be chosen as Summa Legacy, just choose properly the connection you want, USB or COM.

Hope this helps.

Re: Summa DC4sx not cutting graphics correctly

Hello guys, I will try to help, maybe someone can try this and let us know the results. In Corel x3 and Corel x5 (the ones I have tried), when you finish your designs, it is a way to make Winplot sorting cuts, but it takes some time to be done. There is a tool called Objects Administration, in the T...

Re: Double print the same color

Last week I asked the file to Mike (MykalSpencer) and I tested it. The tests I have made seem to be amazing, at least for transparent media (the one I have tried some samples into). In the display of the DC it is shown just the number of passes the DC should print in single pass mode, no matter if t...

Re: Anyone tried this place out Black ribbon $96 bucks?

Hello guys, I don´t know if there is any mistake, but from Europe, where I am, those are the prices, but for EURO, not for DOLLARS, it doesn´t seem to be so cheap to me. The currency changer at the right top of the web site seems to work fine.

I think you need a PC to run the DC, it is not supported on a MAC OS.

Jay, I forgot to say, first go to an unused user configuration, you will avoid problems with other media configurations.

Re: Clear backed vinyl

Hi Jay, go to printer menu, choose white as optitrac color (with optitrac option setup as automatic), and make a media calibration from system menu, in this calibration it will tell you if optitrac is well detected. If you have some problems in doing so, maybe you will have to set optitrac color as ...

Re: Clear backed vinyl

Try using optitrac to black color or even black with white background option, the problem is not the backing of the vinyl but the optitrac detection problem.
The clear 3M recommended by Summa has the backing of the vinyl transparent so ther is no problem with the back itself.

Re: HELP! Problem with Summa S120D

Thats a problem with the encoder detecting if knife is up or down when cutting with tangential knife, I once had this problem, the machine was working but a bit slower than before, there was a problem with a head sensor. Call Summa support, they helped me a lot.

Re: oil/lubricant on print head carriage

Sorry if answer is an old one now.
+1 for zlmark, Muts, phone Summa techs and ask them to lead you to check your DC carriage spindle, and manually check with the DC off if the carriage goes smooth from right to left and opposite, very weird issue.

Re: How-To Contour & Flex Cut (Punch-Out) Stickers

I would suggest to try this: Why dont you just use Flexcut and ContourCut colors in Summa Palette? The way I use contour cut and flexcut is like this, I apply the color designed by Summa palette to the contour of the figure I want to cut, it is more simple than having to design a color and rename it...

Re: printing on black vinyl, DC4

Have you tried setting optitrac mode to "white background"? I think this mode prints a white square on bottom of optitrac mark to read the optimarks. The issue of this way of working is that you have to think that you are spending white ribbon everywhere, the optitrac color sometimes has to be mirro...

Re: Last Issue Before I'm Completely Satisfied

The pink roller is the same as the orange one, and, you should clean the pink roller itself with isopropilic alcohol, that´s what I do any time I need to be sure the print quality is good. Besides run the head clean inside printer menu, and be sure the blue carpet under the DC carriage on the left o...
