Summa Banner MAterial

Is the banner material offered by Summa the only banner that the DC4 can print on? For a trade show banner stand it has a maximum thickness of .45mm suggested and my calipers read the summa banner material at .48ish

I haven't done one yet, but i would probably try to print it on clear with the white going down first as a mask.

One of my suppliers told me today that they had a customer try the optically clear laminate. It printed great but the heat from the print head messes with the adhesive removing the "optically clear" portion. Apparently summa is "working on" a new product.....

The machine didn't need a break for me, I actually get way better results when it is running all day. Less chance for dust to settle in there I guess.

You can add A4 High Gloss to the list! Used it in a pinch and got the same results as the Summa Intermmediate.

Yes, heat is absolutely necessary for conforming the curves, and those areas I would say the scratchguard's effectiveness is reduced but not negated. I have tested this by using a sharpie on a small area and then removing it (once dried) with Methanol on various areas. I would consider lamination ne...
